| I am a fine art painter working full time on a commission basis and as an illustrator/writer of children's books. I am also a member of SCBWI (the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators.) I was honored to be a scholarship student studying painting, sculpture, & printmaking at the famous Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art, graphic design at the University of the Arts, illustration at Antonelli Institute of Art and Photography, and creative writing at West Chester University. Lately I have been experimenting with Wacom Intous 3 & various digital art programs creating new paintings and digitally painting and enhancing my photographs, thus enjoying the endless spectrum of color I have always wished to achieve traditionally. Gallery representation from coast to coast has been the primary platform for showing my paintings since the 80's up unil recently. I have been quite inspired by this wonderful social network and showcase of extraordinary artistic talent at Deviant Art, finding it a great place to learn, experiment and share my most recent work.
